Back by popular demand, We’re opening the toolboxes and turning up the bass for FrozenNorthLX’s Rock-N-Wrench extreme mod day.  Our hosts for this event are the awesome guys at First Gear Garage in Eden Prairie.

For those unfamiliar with Rock-N-Wrench and First Gear Garage, we’ve teamed together to bring you reduced rates on the lifts, camaraderie with fellow LX freaks, a good ole grilling picnic, and I feel like I’m forgetting something – that’s right a DJ dropping the beats!

You know you want to whip out your wrench, lube it up, and go to town on your car – we see the way you look at your ride.  Well, now you can without anyone giving you dirty looks.  Hell, if you’re lucky someone will be there to help give you a hand at your job.

This is a rain or shine event.  In case of rain, there’s plenty of space indoors.

Mopars in the Park only comes one weekend a year, but Friday Night Mopars is every week!

Last week was the first run, and even though it was cold and windy it was still a good event.  This meetup is open to all Mopars, from a Dodge Model 30 to a fire breathing Viper – ALL ARE WELCOME.  Spread the word, Friday is now Friday Night Mopars.

Where: Sonic’s in Bloomington

Who: Seriously? You and your Mopar, that’s who.

Damn rain…  Even with the rain it was an incredible turnout at the AutoMotorPlex in Chanhassen.  If you haven’t been to their Cars & Cafe event, it’s worth the trip!  It’s held the first Saturday of the month, April through October.  Be warned, the place fills up quick.  We typically try to meet up in advance around 7am to get a spot.  A little after 8am, they’re turning away cars.

And when meeting at an ungodly time on a Saturday morning, usually means brunch or lunch afterwards.  This time we trekked out to Bloomington to Joe Senser’s for their brunch.

Pretty good time, even if mother nature didn’t want to play nice.

After over a YEAR of planning, it finally came together!  We placed a large group order of custom, one-off hats that suited our members tastes.  All black? Check.  Blue & White trucker style hat? Check.  Color matching stitching to their car? Check.  You’ll get a good look at the hats in the coming days.

The LX famous, Jina the Stitch Witch did her magic for our club.  You can still have her make a custom hat, but it might just cost you a bit more.

We buy stuff of course!  With spring right around the corner it seems the boys & girls of the Frozen North have been keeping this economy going all on their own.
