Fury Motors in South St Paul, was our gracious host for our annual meeting today.  We’ll post up minutes from the meeting later, but Bud was re-elected to a 3 year term as a Board member.  We also made some bylaw changes, which are now reflected on this site.

You can’t have an all business meeting without some fun!  So we headed over to B-52′s in Inver Grove Heights for grub and beers.  Nate & Rick abused the system to win free beers and Doug, Mike, and Dave won $20 gift cards to B-52′s, so they ate free

We were charting out our plan for 2012, and we’ll have a rough idea posted in the next few weeks.

Mopar enthusiasts in the midwest have been asking for a “Big” Mopar show later in the summer. Well now we have it. Bruno, the owner of the Automotorplex in Chanhassen, has agreed to host an ALL MOPAR SHOW at his facility. With space for over 450 cars, let’s show Bruno how many Mopar fanatics we have in the midwest.

WHAT: All Mopar Show at the Automotorplex
WHERE: Automotorplex in Chanhassen
DATE: Saturday September 17th
TIME: 9am – Noon
ADMISSION: FREE

DETAILS: MnChallengers will be hosting an All Mopar Show at the Automotorplex in Chanhassen on September 17th. The show will run from 9am to 12pm. This is a public event, open to anyone who owns a Mopar new or old, classic or custom. The show is FREE to participants and spectators. Club representatives and sponsors will choose the Top 21 rides. Winners will receive custom 8×10 plaques. There will be a prize raffle for participants and spectators. Miss Car Craft 2011 will be available for photos and sign posters at her booth. Local hot rod artist Nick Sinclair will also be onsite with art and t-shirts. If you own a Mopar, you will not want to miss this annual event

The FrozenNorthLX crew will be out in full force at the West St Paul Car show on July 16th.  The show shuts down State Highway 3, also known as South Robert Street in West St Paul.

You can find us at the Old Asian Inn parking lot.  If you’ve got a Challenger, Charger, 300, or Magnum, stop on down and check us out!

It was fun having our own parking lot, but if we want any chance of seeing an LX win an award, I think we need to be MUCH closer to the registration tent!

Despite heavy rains in the morning, the skies cleared later and it was a beautiful afternoon. I want to thank for Scott for having us, and thank everyone who came out. I look forward to next year’s Spring Meet at a new location!
