A few of our members made the trek out to Eau Claire, WI for some drag racing today and had some really good times.  Here’s how our members fared:

Adam in his 2006 Dodge Charger R/T set a personal best time of 11.741 seconds in one run, and a personal best speed of 117.21 MPH.

Jason in his 2011 Dodge Charger R/T set a personal best time of 12.65 seconds.

Craig in his 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T set his own personal best time of 13.051 (so damn close to the 12’s!), a personal best speed of 108.34 MPH and a personal best reaction time of .009!

Adam gets in the 11’s!

April 29th, 2013 No comments

A couple weeks back we had a few of our members make the track to Illinois to hit the quarter mile. Adam in his 2006 Dodge Charger R/T has been chasing the 11’s for some time and finally broke through! Congrats!!!

We had three members make the 6 hour drive for a weekend of racing, weather didn’t play nice on Saturday, but two members were able to hang out for an extra day and make some magic.

In the right lane, was Jason, another FNLX member in a 2011 Charger. If I were a betting man, I would bet that he’s into the mid 12’s before the summer is over.

Stay tuned…

FNLX At Rock Falls Raceway

September 10th, 2012 No comments

Rock Falls Raceway,  just a few miles south-west of Eau Claire, Wisconsin held a Muscle Car Race on September 9th. A bunch of us from FNLX made the trek for a day of hanging out, eating good food (that pork butt was awesome, Pat!) and of course for some drag racing.

The day started off cool and allowed member Adam to run a personal best 12.1 in his Charger RT. We had quite a few members who were new to drag racing, yet they quickly got the hang of it and improved in both reaction times and ET’s as the day wore on.

Congratulations has to go out to member Jason who came away with 4th place in the Consolation Final. He figured out his dial and was nailing it every single time. Good work!

Big thanks to member Adam for organizing this event. We’ll definitely be back, and hopefully sooner rather than later!
